Day 2 - Boston Sightseeing & Salem Cross Inn Fireside Feast

From colonial meetinghouses to revolutionary-era streets, Boston’s past comes vividly to life throughout the morning. Enjoy free time for lunch at the lively Faneuil Hall Marketplace, a historic gathering place since 1742 and long celebrated as “The Cradle of Liberty.” This afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside as autumn colors deepen en route to West Brookfield. The evening brings a truly memorable experience at the Salem Cross Inn with its famous 1700s-style Fireplace Feast. Day 3 - Vermont Countryside, Manchester & Hildene

Continue north along scenic mountain roads to the iconic von Trapp Family Lodge, perched high above the charming village of Stowe and surrounded by sweeping alpine views and vibrant fall foliage. The hills truly come alive with a special visit to this famed retreat. Day 5 - White Mountains Scenic Touring & Mount Washington Cog Railway
This morning, after breakfast, journey into the majestic White Mountains of New Hampshire, where rugged peaks, winding valleys, and vibrant autumn foliage create one of New England’s most dramatic landscapes. Travel through scenic mountain corridors before enjoying a planned luncheon in a charming White Mountains setting, offering time to take in the beautiful surroundings ahead of the afternoon’s adventure. This afternoon, experience an unforgettable “once-in-a-lifetime” rail journey aboard the Mount Washington Cog Railway. First opened in 1869, this engineering marvel climbs Mount Washington using toothed cog gears, rack rails, and tilted boilers. As the train ascends some of the steepest railroad tracks in existence, sweeping panoramic views unfold in every direction. At the summit, enjoy time to explore and take in the magnificent scenery from atop New England’s highest peak before beginning the descent. From here, travel through the scenic Crawford Notch, where sheer rock walls, winding mountain passes, and tumbling streams frame one of New Hampshire’s most picturesque routes. This breathtaking mountain road winds through the heart of the White Mountain National Forest, offering sweeping views, rushing rivers, and endless forests dressed in autumn color. Enjoy leisurely photo stops along the way to fully appreciate the natural beauty of this iconic route. Arrive in New Hampshire’s beautiful Lakes Region and enjoy free time for lunch on your own in the charming lakeside village of Meredith. Day 7 - Kennebunkport, Ogunquit & Lobster Cruise
After breakfast, travel along Maine’s picturesque coastline to the classic summer resort of Kennebunkport. Continue to Dock Square, where you’ll have free time to explore inviting shops, stroll the waterfront, and enjoy lunch on your own amid the lively coastal atmosphere. This afternoon, continue to the seaside village of Ogunquit—named by the Abenaki Indians meaning “beautiful place by the sea.” Board Finest Kind Cruises for a fun and informative lobster cruise along Maine’s rugged shoreline. Learn about lobsters and their habitat, watch traps being hauled, and see lobsters caught by an authentic Maine lobsterman while enjoying scenic coastal views. After the cruise, enjoy free time in charming Perkins Cove before checking into your resort.
