DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Make your way to the hotel where you will register as
a member of Country Squire Tours. Upon arrival you will
receive further information regarding this evening's Get-Acquainted
Dinner to be hosted by your Tour Director . (D)

DAY 2: BOSTON
Today enjoy a full day of touring the historic Boston
from the Back Bay to Beacon Hill , where history will
come alive at every turn. You will view Paul
Revere's home and the Old
North Church . Mid afternoon there will be a stop
at historic Faneuil Hall and Quincy Marketplace for
free time and shopping. Late this afternoon there will
be a visit to the JFK Library in Boston to learn about
the Kennedy era. Enjoy an early dinner before attending
Shear Madness, the longest running play in Boston
's history. (B, D)
DAY 3: SALEM / COASTAL MAINE
This morning you will tour Salem , often called the
Witch City for its infamous involvement in the Witch
Trials of 1692. The first stop will be the Salem
Witch Museum where a multi-media sight and sound
presentation will be seen. Next you will tour the quaint
town of Portsmouth , NH before traveling to the coastal
region of Maine . The tangy sea air is cool and refreshing
in the spring and warm and invigorating in the fall.
You will pass through Ogunquit, which is an Indian name
meaning Beautiful Place by the Sea because of the
three miles of sandy beaches, sand dunes and surf. Kennebunkport
will be one of the day's highlights. You can browse
through the shops at the famous Dock Square and then
travel Ocean Avenue to the end of the peninsula to view
the summer home of former President and Mrs. George
Bush. (B)
DAY 4: NEW HAMPSHIRE
/ VERMONT
Today the beauty of the Green Mountains of Vermont and
the White Mountains of New Hampshire are yours to enjoy.
As you travel, the foliage takes on beautiful hues in
autumn. There will be plenty of covered bridges, icy
bubbling brooks and rolling farmlands as you travel
through the quaint town of Woodstock making your way
to Meredith , NH . There you will experience a nostalgic
train ride around Lake
Winnipesaukee while dinner is being served. (B,

DAY 5: LEXINGTON / CONCORD
/ PLYMOUTH
Today you will check out of your hotel and travel to
the Lexington and Concord region. The dramatic events
which led to our Revolutionary War will unfold at every
turn. You will visit the Old
North Bridge in Concord where colonists fired the
famous shot heard round the world and continue on
to the Lexington Green. Your ride will take you past
the home of the literary greats Louisa May Alcott,
Nathaniel Hawthorne and Ralph Waldo Emerson. This afternoon
you will travel to Plymouth , America 's Hometown
and home to Plymouth Rock. Here you will board the Mayflower
II and tour Plimouth
Plantation. The villages, manners, customs and dress
are as they were in the year 1627 when the Pilgrims
first landed in the New World . This afternoon brings
you to Cape Cod where you will check into your hotel
for three nights . (B)
DAY 6: HYANNIS / PROVINCETOWN
Depart this morning for a tour of Cape Cod . Enjoy the
scenery on historic route 6 A known as the Old Kings
Highway that was once an actual Indian trail. You will
view old Sea Captain's homes that line the street as
you wind along this coastal route. Stops include the
National
Seashore Park and Nauset
Lighthouse. Travel onward to the tip of the peninsula
into Provincetown . Enjoy this art colony, with its
unique way of life, before experiencing a memorable
ride in the Dunes. This evening enjoy a traditional
Lobster dinner that awaits you at an old Sea Captain's

DAY 7: NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND
Following breakfast, a morning drive takes you to Newport,
Rhode Island, the home of lavishly restored mansions.
Traveling along the famous ten- mile Ocean Drive you
will see the exquisite estates and "Mansions
of the Rich". You will visit "The Marble
House, built and modeled for the Vanderbilt's after
two of there favorite buildings the Parthenon in Greece
and the Petit Trianon in France. There will be free
time to visit the Brick Marketplace for lunch and shopping
time. Next, a view of Touro Synagogue, the oldest synagogue
in America, and Trinity Church built in 1725. This evenings
farewell dinner will be a memorable cabaret dinner so
sit back and relax and enjoy the show. (B, Dinner Show)
DAY 8: HARBOR CRUISE / DEPARTURE
This morning before saying farewell to Cape Cod, board
a replica of a Maine steamboat for a one hour narrated
cruise of the Hyannis Harbor where you will view the
Kennedy compound. Returning to Boston by approximately
1:00 P.M., your coach will make the necessary stops
at bus, rail and airline terminals for your trip home.
And so your tour ends, with lingering thoughts of our
Nation's Heritage and treasured memories that will last
a long time...perhaps forever! (B)
