DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Make your way to the hotel where you will register
as a member of Country Squire Tours. Upon arrival
you will receive further information regarding this
evening's Get-Acquainted Dinner and wine and cheese
reception to be hosted by your Tour Director. Transfers
to the hotel provided by the Sheraton Four Points.

DAY 2: BOSTON
Today enjoy a full day of touring the historic Boston
from the Back Bay to Beacon Hill, where history
will come alive at every turn. You will view Paul
Revere's home and the Old
North Church. Mid afternoon there will be a
stop at historic Faneuil Hall and Quincy Marketplace
for free time and shopping. Late this afternoon
there will be a visit to the JFK Library in Boston
to learn about the Kennedy era. Enjoy an early dinner
before attending "Shear Madness", the
longest running play in Boston's history. (B,

DAY 3: SEACOAST NEW HAMPSHIRE / COASTAL
MAINE
This morning touring will bring you to
coastal New Hampshire where the first stop will
be at Strawberry Banks Museum. Located in Portsmouth,
New Hampshire this is New Hampshire oldest seacoast
neighborhood. Experience life from the late 1600's
to the 1950's in this neighborhood known as Puddle
Dock. Strawberry Banks is rich in history: George
Washington, Daniel Webster, John Paul Jones and
John Hancock were all guests on this site. Leaving
Portsmouth the journey will bring you north to
the Maine coastline. Kennebunkport is our destination
with touring to include Dock Square, the Wedding
Cake House, and Ocean Ave to the end of the peninsula
with views of the summer home of the former President
and Mrs. Bush. Take time for lunch and some browsing
in this quaint town then take the Trolley tour
that is included to enjoy the afternoon is this
lovely area. Late afternoon you return to the
hotel for relaxation and dinner on own at the
hotel or neighboring restaurants. (B)
DAY 4: NEW HAMPSHIRE / VERMONT
Today the beauty of the Green Mountains of Vermont
and the White Mountains of New Hampshire are yours
to enjoy. As you travel, the foliage takes on
beautiful hues in autumn. There will be plenty
of covered bridges, icy bubbling brooks and rolling
farmlands as you travel through the quaint town
of Woodstock making your way to Meredith, NH.
There you will experience a nostalgic train ride
around Lake Winnipesaukee while dinner is being
served.

DAY
5: LEXINGTON / CONCORD / PLYMOUTH
Today you will check out of your hotel
and travel to the Lexington and Concord region.
The dramatic events which led to our Revolutionary
War will unfold at every turn. You will visit
the Old
North Bridge in Concord where colonists fired
the famous "shot heard round the world"
and continue on to the Lexington Green. Your ride
will take you past the home of the literary greats
- Louisa May Alcott, Nathaniel Hawthorne and Ralph
Waldo Emerson. This afternoon you will travel
to Plymouth, "America's Hometown" and
home to Plymouth Rock and our nations start. Here
you will board the Mayflower
II, the replica of the original ship that
brought the Pilgrims to the new land. This afternoon
brings you to Cape Cod and to Sandwich, MA Cape
Cod oldest town. This afternoon tour the Sandwich
Glass Museum; enjoy a glass blowing demonstration
and other exhibits before you check into your
hotel for next three evenings. (B)
DAY 6: HYANNIS / PROVINCETOWN
Depart this morning for a tour of Cape Cod. Enjoy
the scenery on historic route 6 A known as the
"Old Kings Highway" that was once an
actual Indian trail. You will view old Sea Captain's
homes that line the street as you wind along this
coastal route. Stops include the National
Seashore Park and Nauset
Lighthouse. Travel onward to the tip of the
peninsula into Provincetown. Take time to enjoy
Pilgrim Monument, this charming museum is the
best of the old and new of the area. Learn where
the Pilgrims first landed before heading to Plymouth.
Have time to enjoy this art colony, with its unique
way of life, before experiencing a memorable ride
in the sand dunes in an enclosed Suburban vehicle.

DAY 7: NANTUCKET, MA
Following breakfast take in the sounds
of the harbor as you board your fast ferry that
will whisk you to the island of Nantucket. This
one time hustling whaling village is rich in history
and culture. The day will be spent on this island
enjoying the many activities offered along with
shopping time at the quaint shops or enjoying
the many restaurants. Early afternoon fast ferry
back to the mainland is included before you head
to the hotel to freshen up for your farewell lobster
dinner. (B, D)
DAY 8: FALMOUTH, MA / DEPARTURE
This morning before saying farewell to Cape Cod,
you head to the upper portion of Cape Cod to the
magical seaside town of Falmouth. Stroll down
tree lined streets through one of Cape Cod's most
charming villages. Shop and browse through shops
that proudly offer distinctive selections of Cape
Cod specialties. You will be returning to Boston
by approximately 12:30 P.M, transfers provided
please schedule your air after 2:00 PM. And so
your tour ends, with lingering thoughts of our
Nation's Heritage and treasured memories that
will last a long time...perhaps forever! (B)
