ELIZABETH
(BETSY) ANTONELLIS After high school,
I got married, raised four children, graduated
from college, managed a real estate office, then
managed 134 apartments for the elderly. In 1991,
I trained to be a tour guide doing tours of Cape
Cod, New England and the Canadian Maritimes. I
am a member of CITGA, Cape and Islands Tour Guide
Association and the Greater Boston Tour Guide
Association. In 1998 I was the recipient of the
Governor's Award for Travel & Tourism. In
2002 I was named Cape Cod Tour Guide of the Year.
I have lived on the Cape year round with my husband
since 1986 but we'll always be "Wash Ashores"
since we were born on the mainland. My ancestors
came over on the Mayflower and I belong to the
Daughters of the American Revolution.
BOB BRENNAN
I originally hail from the Finger Lakes Region
of Upstate New York, where I once ran a gray iron
foundry with over 100 employees. When the work
was lost to overseas competition in the late eighties,
I relocated to Boston, where I attended a school
called ITMI and trained to become a tour director.
I am also privileged to be a Past President of
ITMI. I have been working as a tour director ever
since, specializing in New England and the Canadian
Maritimes along the Eastern Seaboard. I love the
tall ships, history of the peoples, geology, anthropology,
scenic wonders, glacial influences, and distinct
cultures that have developed in the regions. The
food sources and recipes are distinctly regional,
famous throughout the world and delicious! I especially
love fall foliage season, maple sugar, lobster,
the beaches and living history museums. My family
has vacationed on Cape Cod for over 30 years.
Both of the children now live in the North End
and work in Boston.

and his wife, Leah, live in Marstons Mills next
to 50 acres of conservation land and as many acres
of cranberry bogs. Ask him a question, and he
loves the challenge, especially if it takes some
research to discover the answer. "That's
why I do this work, he says. "I love meeting
people, I welcome the question, and I learn something
new every day.
