How do we make a reservation?
Phone, Fax or E-mail all requests. Provide the full first and last name of the travelers and include your address, phone number, tour name and date of departure. Space will be confirmed by e-mail and hard copy at the time of booking.

What is your payment policy?
A deposit of $ 100 per person is due within 7 days after receiving confirmation. Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure. All payments will be refunded in if cancelled 45 days prior departure. There will be a $25.00 cancellation fee imposed. We strongly recommend the purchase of cancellation insurance.

Should you not take the cancellation insurance, the following fee structure will apply:

45 days to 21 days 10% of the tour cost
21 days to 7 days 20% of the tour cost
7 days to 1 day 100% of the tour cost










Is travel insurance necessary?
New England Tours.com strongly suggests purchasing travel insurance. We want your trip to be worry-free. The travel insurance will cover you and help protect your investment. Information will be sent to you with your initial confirmation.







Do we accept credit cards?

New England Tours.com accepts Mastercard and Visa for deposits and final payment













What is New England weather like?
New England weather tends to run a little cooler than the rest of the country. It is always best to have an evening wrap available. As you travel further north, a sweater or jacket would be appropriate.






What cloths should I bring?

Layering your clothing is the key to a happy and comfortable tour. . The tour does not require you to “dress up”at any time. Neat, casual, and comfortable would be most appropriate. Be sure and bring a pair of comfortable walking shoes.





Are airport transfers included in the price?

No. We choose the first night’s accommodations within close proximity of the airport. Information is included in your final documents regarding airport transfers.





Do we match singles – to share a room?

If a single person wishes to share a room, New England Tours.com will provide the phone numbers of other single persons wishing to share. Arrangements are made between the two people on their own.





Do we rotate seats on the motorcoach?

Yes. The exact pattern of the seat rotation is at the discretion of the tour guide/director.





How many stops do we make during the day?

Adequate stops are allotted for the comfort of the passengers. All of our motorcoaches are equipped with lavatory facilities.



Who makes the airline flight reservations?
The individuals make their own flight reservations





Do we accommodate travelers needing special assistance?

New England Tours.com will make reasonable effort to accommodate the special needs of tour participants. It is strongly recommended that persons requiring assistance be accompanied by a companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the assistance. Please contact the office for further information regarding this matter.





Are we going to have Lobster?

New England Tours.com prides itself on offering “local fare” during it’s tours. Please refer to your specific tour to see if a “lobsta’ dinner” is included.





Do the hotels have pools?

Most of the hotels have indoor pools. Please ask the office for specifics.







What is your extra baggage policy?
There is no charge for one bag per person or for the overnight cases carried personally. There will be an additional charge for each extra bag which is payable to the Tour Director.








What is your customary tipping policy?
Many of our patrons ask what the appropriate gratuity is for the Tour Director, Guide and Motorcoach Operator. Industry standard is $ 3.00 per person/ per day. Please keep in mind that tipping is based upon your personal discretion.









Is there a smoking policy in place?
New England Tours.com has adopted a policy of no smoking aboard all tour coaches. In fact, there are many locations in the state of Massachusetts that do not allow smoking at all (i.e. restaurants.) Frequent stops are made, at which time those who wish to smoke may do so.








What is NOT included in the price of the tour?
Meals other than specified, personal tips to Tour Director, maids, local guides, drivers, laundry, valet, telephone and other items of personal nature. Any such expression of appreciation should be offered on a voluntary and personal basis. Roundtrip transportation charges between your hometown and originating city of the tour are not included.









Would the tour date ever be altered?
New England Tours.com reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to the departure date for any reason. If this should occur, New England Tours.com will make every effort to book you on another departure date. If an alternate cannot be found, then a full refund will be made.









When is the best time to see the Fall Foliage?
Though you cannot always predict nature’s ways, foliage season traditionally begins in the mid-to-late September and ends in the mid-to-late October. The completed cycle takes about three weeks and peak color lasts for a week.







When will final documents be sent?
Final documents will be mailed 21 days prior to departure of the tour. The final Documents will include hotel names, numbers and address, final itinerary, name and luggage tags, suggested packing lists and, gratuity envelops.




How late may I book on to a tour?
Sales of tours generally end 7 days prior to departure. A $25.00 fee will be assessed to cover express mailing of documents and other expenses incurred because of the late booking. A credit card guarantee is required for final payment at the time of booking.
