Enjoy the scenery on this brief three hour cruise. Dock in Yarmouth, NS, clear customs and begin our journey along the beautiful Evangeline Trail. Visit Grand Pre National Historic Site with 14 acres of landscaped grounds established in memory for all the Acadians, Nova Scotia's first French settlers, who were deported to British Settlements throughout the North America. A savory dinner is served at the resort this evening. (B, D)

DAY 3 - Halifax & Peggy's Cove
Following a hearty breakfast, depart for a guided tour of the capitol of Nova Scotia; Halifax. This modern city nestled amongst the tranquil beauty of its coastal surrounding is truly a site to behold. Halifax harbor is the second largest natural harbor in the world allowing ships and vessels of all sizes to port in the harbor. Visit the Citadel National Historic Site. This star shaped fortification was completed in 1856 and stands on a hill overlooking downtown. Designed to block a land-based attack, this fort actually was never attacked. Then visit the Fairview Lawn Cemetery. Here many victims of the tragic sinking of the Titanic lie in rest. Take some time to stroll through the beautifully manicured Halifax Public Gardens. This afternoon, journey to the enchanting seaside fishing village of Peggy's Cove. This village is quite well known to many artists for its picturesque ocean setting. Visit Peggy's Cove Light - the only light of its kind as it doubles as Peggy's Cove post office. This evening enjoy a traditional Nova Scotia Lobster dinner. (B, D)

Defy gravity as our motorcoach actually rolls up hill! Then continue on to Saint John where we'll make a stop to the Reversing falls. This phenomenon is best described when the high tides of the Bay of Fundy meet and overpower the Saint John River and force the river to reverse and flow back upstream. We'll check into our hotel for the evening. Enjoy an appetizing dinner tonight. (B, D)
