ITINERARY:
DAY 1 - Arrival Portsmouth,
NH
Arrive to our Portsmouth, NH hotel this afternoon.
Enjoy a welcome reception upon arrival. A welcome
dinner is planned for us this evening. (D) DAY
2 - Southern Shores
After breakfast at our hotel, we'll travel over
the bridge into Maine to visit our first of many
lighthouses fondly known as - "the Nubble".
The Cape Neddick Light sits atop this small islands
highest point. We'll then travel to the beautiful
sea side village of Kennebunkport. Continue on
to Portland where we'll visit the Portland Head
Light. This is the oldest lighthouse in continuous
use in the US since 1791. Our last lighthouse
for the day is the Cape Elizabeth Light, before
continuing on to Boothbay Harbor for the next
two evenings. Enjoy harbor front dining this evening.

DAY 3 - Boothbay Harbor Cruise
Following breakfast, we'll northward to Boothbay
Harbor for a harbor cruise aboard Cap'n Fish's.
View many sites throughout the bay such as lighthouses
and seals. After lunch and some free time, we'll
travel to Pemaquid Point where the Pemaquid Light
sits high overlooking the ocean. This lighthouse
has been in operation since 1827. Enjoy some free
time in Boothbay Harbor this afternoon. Another
delicious dinner awaits us followed by light entertainment.

DAY 4 - Rockland & Camden
Following breakfast, we'll visit the New Maine
Lighthouse Museum which houses the largest collections
of lighthouse and Coast Guard artifacts in the
US which was formally housed by the Shore Village
Museum. Then travel to the Rockland Breakwater
Light in picturesque Camden. Our final lighthouse
for the day is the Marshall Point Lighthouse in
operation since 1857. This afternoon, continue
north to Mount Desert Island and check into our
Bar Harbor hotel for a two night stay. Enjoy a
delicious down east dinner this evening. (B,

DAY
5 - Acadia National Park &
Nature Cruise
After breakfast this morning, we'll tour through
Acadia National Park. Visit thunder hole along
with other scenic picture stops. Then we'll travel
to the top of Cadillac Mountain. The views from
this mountain are spectacular to behold. This
afternoon, enjoy lunch on own followed by a scenic
nature cruise. Enjoy spectacular views of Acadia
National Park, Egg Rock Lighthouse, magnificent
summer homes as well as Bald Eagles, seals and
other marine life. Tonight, enjoy a traditional
down east lobster bake. (B, D)
DAY 6 - Portsmouth, NH
After breakfast, we'll travel south again to Freeport
for some free time to shop in LL Bean and many
other outlets. Continue on to Portsmouth for a
visit to the Portsmouth Harbor Light in operation
since 1771. Enjoy free time strolling along Portsmouth's
Harbor Trail and browsing around town. Arrive
to our Portsmouth hotel for our final evening.
Enjoy a tasty farewell dinner tonight. (B,

DAY 7 - Depart for home
After breakfast this morning, we'll bid farewell
taking with us many fond memories. (B)

estate of Mary Roberts Rinehart, famous writer
of popular mystery stories. Most of the estate,
along with hundreds of homes and summer cottages
and thousands of acres of forest, was destroyed
